Jeff Danford brings more than 20 years of experience in automotive finance to the BlueYield team, having worked and held executive roles in such prominent manufacturer finance companies as Ford Credit, Honda Finance, and Mercedes-Benz Credit. He has a long history of successful business innovations that involve launching and managing several Internet-based lending operations. These initiatives include Giggo.com for Mercedes-Benz, E-Loan's auto division and Fourth Fleet Financial. Over the years, Jeff has also developed dozens of leading-edge business partnerships with such companies as Bank of America, Wachovia, Wells Fargo, Compass Bank, Citicorp, Fiserv, GE Capital, PHH Arval, AutoNation, Microsoft, Yahoo, and eBay.
Jeff holds a BA in Finance and an MBA in Management.
Jennifer Heil / President and COO
Jennifer Heil brings more than 20 years of experience in automotive finance to the team, having held executive-level roles with traditional auto finance companies including HSBC/Household Auto Finance and Wachovia, as well as Internet based lending businesses such as E-Loan, CreditLand, and Fourth Fleet Financial. Well-versed in all aspects of auto lending, Jennifer has a sterling reputation in the industry. She has an extensive and successful history developing and managing partnerships with many of the country's most successful credit unions, affinity groups, and Internet lead-generation businesses. She also brings a deep and expansive roster of operations and product management to the table, having managed direct lending units at HSBC and Wachovia.
Jennifer holds a BS in Business Administration and an MBA in Technology Management.
Balaram Putta / Chief Technology Officer
Balaram Putta has been a systems architect and technology leader for nearly 15 years. He has developed a broad array of leading-edge technologies, ranging from Novel Netware disaster recovery solutions to protocols for secure Internet file transfer designed during his tenure at Intrusion.com, a provider of technical security solutions to the U.S. Government and Fortune 500 corporations. His extensive experience in financial services and direct-to-consumer automobile lending was gained in technology leadership roles at Well Fargo Bank, NextCard, and Fourth Fleet Financial. With several start-ups to his credit, Balaram combines technology expertise with business acumen and a well-defined strategic vision.
Balaram holds a MS in Computer Science as well as technical certifications from Microsoft, Sun, and other companies.
Curtis M. Kuboyama / EVP Strategic Development
Curtis Kuboyama brings more than 25 years of experience in automotive space to the BlueYield team; having worked and held senior management roles in such prominent manufacturer and finance companies as American Honda, Honda Finance, Mercedez-Benz Credit, Hyundai Motor Finance, and Hyundai Motor America. He has been successful in launching several internet-based lending companies, which include Giggo.com and E-LOAN. During his career, Curtis developed Honda's first ever leasing program, helped start-up Giggo.com (an OEM's first ever direct lending platform) as well as E-LOAN's auto loan division. Curtis has developed strategic partnerships with Bank Of America, AutoNation, eBay, Compass Bank, Well Fargo, and Citicorp.
Curtis holds a BS Degree in Business Management from Pepperdine University.
Matt Murray / SVP Channel Marketing
Matt Murray brings over 20 years of experience in financial services to the BlueYield team, having worked in executive marketing and business development roles at E-Loan, Merrill Lynch, National City Bank, Realtor.com and loanDepot. Matt has a deep understanding of customer acquisition channel strategies for consumer direct platforms, both traditional and digital channels, and has managed annual marketing budgets in excess of $50 million. His strong analytical skills have played a key role in driving ROI for the companies he has worked for. Additionally, Matt has been responsible for traditional aspects of marketing, including brand management, public relations/social media and content generation. Matt holds a BS in Business Management from San Jose State University.
